View Full Version : Mary's Stats
So, I previously posted, but apparently in the wrong section!
I am a 24 year old woman, 5'11¨ and have a pretty active lifestyle. I would really like to be at 190lbs, and then go from there.
Week 1 JAN 3rd: 248 LBS
181 inches (arms, legs, hips and stomach)
Week 2 JAN 10th: 238 LBS (wowwww)
179 inches
so far so good! Although, today is only Thursday... I'm really itching for some cheat dayyyyy.

That's Awesome, Mary! It's like magic I tell ya!
yeah, i'm really excited to see results so quickly.
I've been trying to find more information on the web about what people think, and I'm shocked to find that there are SO many people saying it doesn't work... because it's working so well for me!
Week 3 JAN 17th: 235 lb (meh... only 3lbs loss this week)
178 inches (1 inch lost)
This week was slowed.. I don't know why... body's getting use to the food now? Total loss of 13 lbs for 14 days of the diet. We'll see how these last two weeks go. Hopefully I'll get that full 20!

Mary, you're doing really great!! I think that earlier on in the diet we lose weight the fastest. Keep going, good for you!!! :)
Thanks Tiff! I think so too.. also, it's important what he says about water weight, and women have weeks that will see different for them as well. I'm still sticking to it though, even if the weight isn't coming off very fast, I do feel really good and I can fit into my skinny jeans already!
Week 3 JAN 26 (had to do the weigh in two days late because I was gorging in Vienna... had no scale!): 232 lbs (3lbs weight loss)
174 inches (4 inches lost!! great!)
This week I was rereading parts of the book, seeing where I may be able to improve. I've added more beans because I had cut them out of my breakfast, but I think it actually has helped this week.
So, I've weighed myself this morning (the morning of my cheat day!) to have an idea of my week's weight loss. I am 227lbs!!! That is 21 lbs from the start of the diet, in less than 30 days! I am just really excited. It makes me NOTTTTT want to do the cheat day, and to just take this loss and savor it. This Monday's post will be the final month post, I'll have had four weeks doing the plan... we'll see if I can get that 20 lbs.

How do you feel on the diet? Are you going to keep going past 4 weeks?

Mary that is AWESOME!!
I must be doing something wrong... Any pointers... Maybe I'm not getting in enough food/calories.
Can you all post a day's worth of what you eat :)
Thanks so much ... I've got a handle on the beans, etc. Just would like to see bigger numbers on the scale!!!
Thanks ladies!! I've just weighed myself for this morning, which will be the official end of the 30 days on the diet.... wa wa....
Week 5: 229 lbs I am happy about the overall loss, but I was so close to having lost the 20!!
Michelle, I am definitely going to keep going... I have a lot to lose, and for me, it's working really well.
Chicklet, I'd be happy to post pictures and things of an average days eating... I really just cook exactly what he says to eat.
Things I don't do... no soda, no oils when cooking (I find that the meat and stuff naturally have juices to cook with...), no snacking..
Things I do... beans, every meal. Lots of protein (30 mins after I get up). Plus some veggies.
For breakfast, it's usually 3 egg whites, 2/3 cup of lentils and some broccoli/mushrooms/asparagus ect mixed in all together. I put a ton of garlic on it, and that's it. I basically do the exact same thing for lunch and dinner, but I use ground turkey or chicken instead of the eggs.
I think it also helps that I'm coming from a place where I need to lose more weight... I have to lose way more than 20 lbs, so, I think these 20 lbs will be the easiest.. the real test for me will be the next 30 or 40 lbs.
2/7 Weigh In: 226 LBS (total loss 22 lbs)
Measured myself: 169.5 (total loss of 11.5 inches)
This week was super weird. I was staying the same weight all week, and then I had a craaaaazy cheat day. I'm not sure about the scale reading (I tried a few different times and got anything between 224 to 229), and in the end I took the number I got the most.
I'm thinking about incorporating exercise this week. We'll see!!
MAN! This week was 0... in everything. Weight exactly the same all week and the measurements exactly the same as well!
What a bummer. I really want to push past this, and keep losing weight. C'mon body!!

Mary, you are doing amazing!! Keep going to your goal... you can surely do it!!
Well guys! I haven't posted in a few weeks, because.... I'm pregnant!! I've actually maintained eating pretty similarly, but I've added fruits and milk products. I haven't gained any weight back from the 25 ish I've lost yet, which is great. So, I guess I will come back after about 9 months! Good luck everyone!
